Currently, SCRTA supports two community organizations … Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) and Shelter Care … primarily by giving them toiletries, cleaning and paper products that are donated by our members at our General Luncheon meetings.
The Mission of RMHC is to enhance healthcare experience for families and children through comfort, care, and supportive services. Their Vision is to inspire hope … when and where families need it most.
The Ronald McDonald House Akron serves families that have a patient admitted or being treated at Akron Children’s Hospital (ACH).
Shelter Care is a Residential Program for youth and families in crisis. The Shelter Care Mission is to provide healing, restore hope, and recognize the value of youth and families through Residential and non-residential services. The Safe Landing Youth Shelter reaches out to the many children and youth in our community with special needs.
